Kannelure represents the pinnacle of contemporary woodcraft, where sculptural intention meets functional design. Constructed from premium solid wood, this dining table radiates attention through its distinctive architectural presence - a composition of deliberate contrasts between substantial form and refined restraint.

The table's design vocabulary speaks through carefully considered details. Vertical channeling along the robust legs establishes a rhythmic visual cadence, while the freeform tabletop surface rejects symmetrical convention in favor of organic and flowing contours.

Softly beveled edges and a subtly undulating plane create an impression of movement frozen in wood, a design language that extends with seamless consistency across the extension leaves.

Kannelure transcends the conventional dining table through its dual nature: a sculptural statement piece that simultaneously serves as a versatile gathering surface.

The various sizes accommodates both intimate occasions and expansive entertaining without compromising aesthetic integrity.

Whether anchoring a minimalist dining room or commanding presence in a gallery-like open plan, Kannelure delivers the rare combination of artistic expression and enduring functionality that defines heirloom-quality design.

This product is designed by

Guldhammer Andersen

GULDHAMMER ANDERSEN
- is an interdisciplinary design duo that works dedicatedly
with both design and consulting. The duo combines two strong professional skills in, among others, furniture design, brand-specific interiors and consulting within the construction industry.
Karima Andersen is a trained architect with extensive experience as previously responsible for interior design and design at some of the DK’s best design studios combined with Anne Guldhammer, who is a trained constructor and construction economist with many years of management and project experience from recognized Danish architectural firms.
The Kannelure series was created during one of these interdisciplinary projects and is inspired by the classical Greek column order characterized by the beautiful vertical lines; the Kannelure. The bevel of the table edge is beautifully carved in relief that relates to the profiled bases of the classical columns.
A classic but yet significant design that appears simple with details that are pleasant to the touch.
