BLACKBOX Workdesk 2.0 – a tribute to the simple design form

The desk stands out with its dynamic expression, which is especially seen on the desktop frame. The height-adjustable frame provides a fine counter-play to the otherwise classic law firm at Clemens.

When the desk is raised in height, the tabletop will move towards the user, which gives a really good working position. This desk ensures that it is always possible to find the correct working height.

BLACKBOX Workdesk 2.0 offers a wealth of details that help increase efficiency and make the working posture more comfortable. The worktop has room to hide the wires from the computer crank and the possibility of having a sound-absorbing acoustic wall mounted. With its many features and dynamic design, the BLACKBOX Workdesk is a work desk that holds the cadence for many years.

BLACKBOX Storage – a convenient and elegant storage module

In addition to the existing office environment, new storage options were added in the form of BLACKBOX Storage. A storage module with space for hanging files that can be safely locked off. In addition, all shelves are produced in oak veneer, which gives the office environment a warm look and a long-lasting design.

Underneath the shelf, there are four wheels mounted, which makes it easy to follow around the building if the device is to be renewed. The four wheels can be locked, so the rack is extra non-slip.

“My work with conversion, design and new interior design for Clemens Lawyers has been in a relatively short and intense course without much time for the classic detail design. It was, therefore, crucial to cooperate with an agile and broad-based supplier of both special equipment and furniture. JENSENplus has delivered a fantastic team of these different competencies and ensured a simple and solution-oriented dialogue throughout the course ”

Middle school

In the middle school of Søndervangskolen, both classrooms and common areas needed a pedagogic modernization. The renewal of the rooms now supports the learning activities at different levels and makes it possible to change rooms continuously.

Lower secondary school

As to the interior design of the lower secondary school, the focus has primarily been on increasing the motivation of the pupils. Therefore, the fixed classrooms have been exchanged with several common classrooms, designed according to the concrete teaching requirements and support the pupils’ competences and subject knowledge. The new rooms allow for the students to be curious, investigating and exploring but also provide the possibility for reflection and feedback on own learning during the day.

”We believe that the new interior design has had a huge impact on the positive development and results of Søndervangskolen. From the school’s part, we have also had a strategic focus on learning environment and design. As a result, the school stands out in various fields, in which the new expression has been proportional to the overall strategic initiative of the school.”

Stackable chair, low maintanance, durable, ergonomic and high quality, which endures daily wear.
These were the requirements for the 1500 new chairs that the main library of Gent was in search for. Keeneth Van Nieuwenhuyze, from Coussée & Goris architecten, was given much food for thoughts with this task and he had to do a lot of research in order to meet the requirements. Moreover, Kenneth needed a chair that could be transformed into a bar stool in order to maintain the same expression throughout the entire library. Kenneth discovered the K2 Chair.

The result was a uniform expression in the main library, which suited the raw tables and the big rooms. The chair is sufficiently subtle to not steal the picture but instead offer a nice and practical seat.
“K2 Chair from JENSENplus fitted the bill perfectly. We had a professional and very high standard collaboration with JENSENplus. The communication was always on point, quick and most important was all questions answered with great solutions and a positive tone of voice. We felt like we were assisted in a very personal way. This, together with the positive attitude, was a very precious characteristic as we often do not see.”
